Packing your hookah bowl the right way is key to a smooth, flavourful session. Start by fluffing your shisha tobacco to loosen it, then sprinkle it loosely into the bowl. For most modern bowls, use a fluff pack: fill the bowl until the tobacco sits just below the rim, leaving a small gap (around 2–3 mm) so the shisha doesn't touch your heat management device or foil. Avoid pressing the tobacco down — a light, airy pack lets heat and airflow move freely for bigger clouds and better flavour. If you're using a Kaloud Lotus or similar attachment, a slightly denser dense pack can also work well with heavier, dark-leaf tobaccos. Always finish with proper heat management to avoid burning your shisha.
